90 Day Differentiation Diet

Alternation of protein, starch, carbohydrate and vitamin days – this is the recipe offered by the 90 day differentiation diet. This program belongs to the reduction group of diets.

Proper adherence to the correct combination of time and food consumption may result in weight loss. The diet is based on rotation of 4 day food cycle. The first day is protein day, the following one is starch, carbohydrate and vitamin day. Every 29-th day is the water day, when only water is allowed. Every morning, You need to start with a glass of water and continue up to 10 glasses throughout the whole day. The weight loss then results in reducing of energy intake, adhering to regular eating regimen and consuming low-calorie foods.

Therefore it is necessary to divide proteins, starch and carbohydrates.

Protein day

During the protein day, only fruits and proteins are allowed.

Fruits are consumed for breakfast and throughout the whole day. However, if you want to have some fruits during the day, eat it one hour after the meal soonest.

Foods high in protein:

  • meat – beef, pork, veal, chicken, rabbit, turkey
  • fish and seafood
  • eggs
  • cheese, cottage cheese, all dairy products
  • cup of broth
  • all kinds of vegetable are allowed except of starchy vegetable, such as potatoes
  • 1 slice of whole wheat bread

Starch day

During the starch day, only foods containing starch are consumed.

Starch is one of the most important carbohydrates in the human diet and is present in many staple foods.

For breakfast, only fruit can be consumed.

The main sources of starch are rice, wheat, maize and potatoes.

Tomato sauce and spices are allowed during the starch day as well.

There is no limit for fruits, except of bananas. You may eat just one banana a day when on starch day.

Drink plenty of water during the whole day.

Permitted foods:

  • all kinds of beans, peas, lentils and soybeans
  • rice, barley, millet, buckwheat and other cereals
  • all vegetables, potatoes including
  • vegetable broth
  • for dinner, you can eat one serving of whole wheat bread

Carbohydrate day

Start each carbohydrate day with fruit. Do not forget to drink plenty of fluids.

Carbohydrates change into glucose, which is an important source of energy for our body.

You can eat only fruit and tomato sauce with spices throughout the carbohydrate day.

Other permitted foods:

  • for dinner, you can eat 1 – 2 slices of cake or ice cream and 1 bar of dark chocolate
  • products made from flour: cakes, macarons, biscuits, pizza crust
  • groats: buckwheat, barley, millet and others
  • vegetable, tomato sauce, spices
  • bakers‘ wares without milk and eggs: pancakes, biscuits

Vitamin day

During the vitamin day, only fruits and nuts can be consumed. You can have fruits in unlimited amount throughout the day. Do not forget to drink plenty of water.

Foods, that are allowed during the vitamin day:

  • fruits of any kind, you can even add sugar
  • dried fruit, better pre-soaked in water
  • nuts and sunflower seeds (1 scoop – 25 g)
  • fruit and vegetable juices
  • fresh vegetables

Water day

This day occurs only once a month, so the 90-day differentiation diet should not be so difficult. Have a water day when you feel good and you are ready for it.

Drink plenty of water during the whole day. You can enjoy as much tea and coffee as you want. However, remember to drink at least 2,5 litres of fluid.

The water day is quite challenging and the best will be to stay in bed whole morning and go to bed early. You will be hungry. But once you pass, you will feel better.

Diet such as 90-day differentiation diet offers 18 – 25 kg weight loss in 3 months, but it may cause some healthy problems. This program is not suitable for children, adolescents, pregnant and lactating women and the older people. Weight loss can be supported by doing physical activities and sport supplemented by meditation, mental relaxation and yoga as well.
