14 Day diet

The 14-day diet is one of the low-calorie diets, during which the intake of fats, some dairy products, sweets, sausages, fruit juices and alcohol is limited.

This diet is focused on reduced carbohydrates intake and high in proteins. Daily calorie intake is 1000 kcal, what is 4200 KJ. The energy intake is distributed into 3 main meals – breakfast, lunch and inner. Throughout this diet, mainly veggie and fruits, lean meat and poultry without skin is consumed. Drinking regimen is very imortant, consisting of unsweetened soft drinks. After 2 weeks, the strict low-carbohydrate diet is followed by program called „Stay slim“, which should ensure keeping your new weight off.

14-day diet

First 14 days are very strict and the energy intake is reduced very extremely. Neither alcohol nor any nutritional supplements are permitted. During these days the ketones are created but not in excessive quantities. Once the first 14 days are over, the program „Stay slim“ is the next part of this diet.

Stay Slim program

Within Stay Slim program, following foods are permitted to consume:

  • 2 slices of whole grain bread
  • carrot
  • celery
  • fruits
  • unsweetened jelly

Foods, that are forbidden during the 14-day diet:

  • sugar
  • potatoes
  • spaghetti
  • candys
  • desserts and cakes
  • butter
  • whole milk
  • fat meat
  • dressings and fats

Celery and carrot is allowed between 2 main meals only. You may drink just coffee, mineral water, tea or other unsweetened drinks.
For lunch, you may have a low-fat cottage cheese, fruits and nuts.

Summary of the 14-day diet

The 14-day diet includes consumption of lean meat, fruits and vegetables. The consumption of these foods should bring extremely low energy intake, what will lead to the rapid weight loss. The diet is very monotonous what is not very good from the long term point of view. After returning to the old eating regimen, the weight might go back to the older status.

The 14-day diet is designed for those, who want to lose weight quickly and effectively. On the other hand, it is not recomnded for people suffering from diabetes, kidney diseases and other health complications.

The diet is not recommended for pregnant women and children as well.
